At Star, we have developed a rich history since the company’s inception in 2012. Our journey has been one that has fundamentally changed the landscape of Ground Handling services in Australia through our unique consultative approach with our Airline partners. Star’s history although short has been a mature development over the years, with each year showcasing new achievements and milestone.

Star Aviation is founded by Peter Georgiou. Star was born with the vision to be Australia’s most dedicated Ground Handler
First Cleaning contract won: Star is awarded our very first contract with Qantas Airways for Cabin Cleaning in Canberra (CBR
First Ground Handling contract won: Star is awarded our very first contract with Fly Pelican for full Ground Handling services in Canberra (CBR)
New Client: Star commenced services with QantasLink. Providing full Ground Handling Services in Albury (ABX)
Star announced our new relationship with Singapore Airlines and commenced cabin cleaning services in Canberra (CBR)
New location: Star expands relationship with Qantas to provide Cabin Cleaning services at Darwin Airport (DRW)
New location Star expands relationship with QantasLink to provide full Ground Handling services in Moranbah (MOV)
New location: Star expands relationship with QantasLink to provide full Ground Handling services in Emerald (EMD)
New Client and Locations: Awarded Cabin Cleaning services contract on behalf of Fiji Airways at Sydney (SYD), Melbourne (MEL) and Brisbane (BNE) Airports.
Star introduced several new service offerings in April 2018, Passenger Reduced Mobility (PRM) Services and Taxi Commissionaire Services.
- 28 APR – PRM Services in Sydney (SYD) providing services on behalf of Qantas and its third party international Airlines (Japan Airlines, Air Niugini, American Airlines, Latam, Vietnam Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines)
- 12 APR – Taxi Commissionaire services on behalf of Canberra (CBR) Airport
New Client: Star commenced new relationship with China Airlines in Brisbane (BNE) providing Cabin Cleaning services
New Client: Star is awarded the PRM services contract in Sydney (SYD) on behalf of Cathay Pacific.
New Client: Star commenced new relationship with United Airlines in Sydney (SYD) and Melbourne (MEL) providing Search and Clean services.
New Client: Star establishes partnership with Qatar, servicing cabin cleaning in Sydney (SYD), Melbourne (MEL) and Brisbane (BNE).
Expanded Relationship: Star furthered our partnership with China Airlines to include Cabin Cleaning services in both Sydney (SYD) and Melbourne (MEL).
Star becomes Australia’s largest provider of Cabin Cleaning services.
New Client: Star commenced services on behalf of Hevilift, to provide full Ground Handling in Moranbah (MOV).
New Client: Star commenced new relationship with ANA for Cabin Cleaning services.
New Client: Star is awarded Cabin Cleaning services on behalf of Sri Lankan Airlines in Sydney (SYD).
New Service Offering: Star expands service portflio to include Cargo Handling in Sydney (SYD) and Melbourne (MEL).
New Client: Star commenced services on behalf of Vietnam Airlines, to provide Cabin Cleaning services in Sydney (SYD) and Melbourne (MEL).
New Client: Star starts new relationship with Aircalin in Sydney (SYD) and Brisbane (BNE) for Cabin Cleaning Services.
New Client: Star had commenced Cabin Cleaning services on behalf of Air Vanuatu in both Sydney (SYD) and Melbourne (MEL).
10 Year Anniversary: Star celebrates 10 years of service.
Star now operates in every major city of Australia.
Star expands relationship with Singapore Airlines, securing the Cabin Cleaning services contracts in Sydney (SYD), Brisbane (BNE), Melbourne (MEL), Adelaide (ADL) and Perth (PER).
Star expands relationship with United Airlines, to provide Cabin Cleaning services in Brisbane (BNE).
