Peter founded Star Aviation Services in 2012 with the vision for Star to be Australia’s most dynamic Ground Handler.
With over 24 years experience within the security and aviation sector, Peter is responsible for the operational management for Star Aviation Services.
Iszy joined the Star team in February 2018 with in-depth knowledge across operations, safety and compliance.
Iszy’s experience spans over 7 years in aviation Ground Handling.
As the Head of Ground Handling, Iszy is responsible for managing Star Aviation’s Ground Handling portfolio’s nationally and overseeing all operations requirements of the respective airports that fall under her control.
Renee joined the Star team in 2018 with over 8 year’s experience in customer service and marketing.
As the Head of Customer Service and Marketing, Renee facilitates the continuous improvement and growth of Star Aviation’s PRM (Passenger Reduced Mobility) services, identifies new opportunities as well as supports cultural change across Star Aviation’s Customer Service portfolio.
Gordon joins Star with over 10 years’ experience in the development, design and delivery of major Risk, Safety, Compliance and Quality Management Systems in a diverse range of industries different industries.
Within his role as Head of Governance, Gordon is responsible for all elements of safety both internally and externally, nationally. Gordon oversee’s all elements of enterprise risk, safety and compliance.
Tiana joined the Star family in 2018 as a Cabin Cleaning Officer.
In 2019, Tiana was promoted to a 2ic.
Based in Brisbane, Tiana’s responsibilities include ensuring she completes all set cabin cleaning tasks, as allocated by her Team Leader, in a timely and professional manner. In the absence of a Team Leader, Tiana leads the team to deliver excellent customer service.

Manjit joined Star Aviation in November 2018 as the Airport Manager for Albury.
Manjit Singh brings to the team an array of management and leadership skills.
As the Airport Manager, Manjit is responsible for overseeing all ground handling operations in Albury, managing the team and maintaining service performance standards.
“Manjit has adapted to the aviation industry extremely well. Since Manjit has joined he has been investing time in learning our client’s KPIs and implementing improvements with the help of the Albury team. Manjit is an excellent leader and I look forward to being apart of his journey” -Isabelle Roach
Jasmin joined the Star team with over 4 years’ experience across airline operations, management and airline training.
As a Duty Manager Jasmin is responsible for the supervision of all contracts in Sydney; across both Cabin Cleaning and Passenger Reduced Mobility.
“I love working for Star as a Duty Manager because there is a great opportunity to learn and grow within the company. Since starting I have felt very supported by not only management but also my work colleagues. I am happy to be part of such a wonderful company and look forward to growing with Star Aviation.”
Catherine started with Star in June 2018 as a Cabin Cleaning Officer for the Melbourne team.
Throughout her career at Star, Catherine has demonstrated excellent leadership and management skills and has received multiple Employee Recognition certificates for assisting the Melbourne team’s development.
In March 2019, Catherine was promoted as a Cabin Cleaning Team Leader.
Catherine was also announced as Star’s March SuperSTAR in 2019. She was nominated by a number of employees and management for her extremely hard work and dedication to the Melbourne Cabin Cleaning team.
Andrew joined the Star family in April 2015 as a Cabin Cleaning Team Leader for Canberra.
In 2018, Andrew was introduced to the business and clients as Canberra’s Airport Manager.
As the Airport Manager, Andrew is responsible for overseeing all ground handling operations in Canberra, managing the team and maintaining service performance standards.

Jacinta joined the Star Aviation Sydney team in April 2018 as a Passenger Service Officer.
Throughout her career at Star, Jacinta has continuously grown and stepped up to new challenges.
Jacinta’s career progression at Star includes:

Matt joined the Star family in July 2017 as a Ramp Officer.
Throughout his career at Star, Matt has continuously displayed leadership skills and consciousness for safety.
In May 2018, Matt was promoted to Emerald Team Leader.
Matt is responsible for managing both the Ramp team and the Customer Services team in Emerald.
His role incorporates overseeing all ground handling operations in Emerald, managing the team and maintaining service performance standards.
Denis joined the Star team in April 2018 as a Ramp Officer in Albury with over 13 years aviation experience.
With Denis’ excellent leadership skills and in depth knowledge, Denis was promoted to a 2ic in May 2018.
This achievement also made Denis, Albury’s very first 2ic.
As a 2ic, Denis is responsible for assisting the Airport Manager with leading the team and assisting with daily ground handling operations.
Yianni joiend Star Aviation in September 2018 as a Passenger Service Officer.
Since commencing with Star, Yianni has been eager to grow within his role and accepted new challenges.
Yianni’s career progression includes:
- Passenger Service Officer
- Passenger Service Officer 2ic
- Passenger Service Manager
- HR and Marketing Officer
Yianni is currently studying a Bachelor of Marketing and Media.
He is responsible for leading the end to end recruitment process and assisting with Star’s social media and brand awareness campaigns.

Robyn Gould joined the Star Aviation Canberra team in August 2017 as a Cabin Cleaning Officer.
With previous customer service skills, Robyn was selected to be cross trained as a Customer Service Officer as well as a Taxi Commissionaire Officer.
Robyn’s ability to assist and lead multiple areas in Canberra’s operations made her an excellent choice as a Customer Service Manager.
In January 2019, Robyn was appointed as Star Aviation’s very first Customer Service Manager for Canberra Airport.
Robyn is responsible for overseeing the customer service team at Canberra Airport as well as maintaining service performance standards across clients contracts.
John joined the Star Aviation Canberra team in 2015 as a Cabin Cleaning Officer.
John has progressed rapidly throughout his career at Star working across a variety of locations and different roles.
John was promoted to a Cabin Cleaning Team Leader in Canberra. He was instrumental in the start up team in Darwin and provided guidance as Team Leader before returning to Canberra.

Daniel joined the Star Brisbane team in March 2019 as a Cabin Cleaning Officer.
As a Cabin Cleaning Officer, Daniel is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service as well as a clean and comfortable aircraft environment for passengers to enjoy.
In his spare time, Daniel is a ice hockey superstar and has been signed with Sydney Bears making him the youngest player n the Australian Ice Hockey League.

To recognise our people, Peter Georgiou introduced employee recognition program: SuperSTAR in January 2019.
SuperSTAR is a recognition program whereby anyone can nominate a fellow employee for going above and beyond.
All nominations received monthly will be assessed by the programs judging panel against the SuperSTAR programs criteria.
SuperSTARs of the Month will receive a visa gift card and a certificate.
In December the 11 employees announced as SuperSTARs of the month will go in the running to be awarded SuperSTAR of the Year.
The SuperSTAR of the Year will receive a trophy, certificate and a holiday for 2 people, including flights and accommodation for 5 nights in Fiji!
